Our goal is to engage and inform our neighbors about the issues that concern our residents, businesses, and the future of our great city. We strive to be a calm voice in this chaos and to lower the temperature of the current environment that has divided so many of us. We want to remind those that are angered that the individuals they are attacking on a personal level are also our neighbors. They are the people we live, work, and play with, and they are doing their best for the community in which we all live, work, and play. And we believe that the majority of Maumee residents are tired of the divisiveness, tired of the negative yard signs, and ready to show that Maumee is united in the belief that we have a great city to live, work, and play in.

We are against this unprecedented recall and don’t believe that starting with a fresh slate of administration and council is a responsible decision. Between the current sewer projects, working with the EPA, and the ongoing upcoming economic development projects, we believe removing those who understand these situations would be detrimental to the future of Maumee. We have tasked ourselves with providing factual information from credible sources both to those that may have been given incorrect information from individuals or groups that may be acting in their own self-interest, as well as those in our community who are just curious about some of the questions in our “The Facts” section. We aim to speak the truth, respect everyone, and have empathy for those that are doing their best to represent Maumee.

We must also remember that turmoil within our city, whether real or perceived, is on display to the communities and businesses around us. We must act with integrity and good judgment so as not to create unnecessary problems for the future of our city, as that will affect all of us in the long term. Businesses are less likely to invest in a city with so much public strife and people are less likely to want to live here.
